Tokyo has had 27 consecutive days of rain, apparently the second-longest streak on record in 150 years of observations.

So I haven't had many chances to go out lately. It feels like September only just started, and somehow, it's already almost over.

Back in January, I started a monthly project where I send out a newspaper zine and a darkroom print every month. I had barely finished shipping the August issue when it was already time to make the September issue.
(The August issue seems to be slowly making its way to everyone, so if you ordered one, please hang in there a little longer. It should be with you soon.)

Until now, I've been using a newspaper format for the project, but for September, I'm sending out a new zine.

The title is Photographs of Mee Monochrome.

It's part of the Photographs of Mee series, a nude photography zine featuring Mee that I made last year. The previous zine was mostly made up of color photographs, while this one, as the title suggests, is entirely in black and white.

The regular edition doesn't come with a print, but for this monthly project only, I'm including a 5×7" fiber-based darkroom print.

As you probably know, I mostly shoot at night on film, so I naturally use flash quite a lot. I often get questions from followers about my flash settings.

So next edition, I'm going to put together a guide to the camera and flash settings you should know if you want to start shooting with flash.
