The Sound of Shinjuku
Honestly, it’s my favorite video I’ve made so far.
I just uploaded a new video on YouTube, and honestly, it’s one of my favorites I’ve ever made.
To enjoy the 3D sound of Shinjuku’s streets, recorded with a binaural mic, I recommend watching it with earphones or headphones on🎧
And for my own motivation, if you like the video, I’d love to hear from you in the YouTube comments.
Tell me which scene you liked most or what you felt while watching. Anything is welcome. Thank you!
30-Day Challenge: Progress Update
Staying consistent is really tough.
I’m proud of myself for keeping this newsletter going every week for a whole year,
but the 30-day challenge I announced last month—shooting photos every day and turning them into a zine—almost broke me within the first few days.
So, I decided to cheat a little (sorry!) and turn it into a project to archive the hundreds of old family photos I found at my grandmother’s house.
At first, I was posting the progress on Threads, but I eventually stopped midway.

On the other hand, Mia @mjaap, who joined this challenge with me—you’re amazing.
She’s been posting her 30-day progress on Threads every single day without missing one.
To show her some love and support, please follow Mia on Threads and cheer her on!
As for my own project, I’m currently scanning and digitizing the family photos,
and I plan to share more about the process here in this newsletter once it’s ready.
Pick of the Week: Instagram POST
Isn’t using a piece of cardboard as a book cover such a great idea?
I really want to try that myself🔥
That’s it for this week—just keeping it short.
See you next Tuesday!
