🚀 These Photos Mean a Lot to Me.

May the stars light our path through the unknown.

Fukushima, Japan. March 2025

On March 11, TV and social media are flooded with stories about the devastating earthquake that struck Japan in 2011.

The earthquake, the tsunami, and the nuclear meltdown that led to radiation contamination—so many lives were changed in an instant. Reading the countless personal stories of those affected, I couldn’t stop myself from tearing up today.

Just recently, I visited Fukushima, the site of the nuclear meltdown. I’ve shared the photos I took there on the FAR EAST DARKROOM blog—take a look if you’re interested.

P.S. No matter what happens, we must keep living. Here’s the video that moved me to tears—I hope you’ll watch it.

I sincerely pray for the souls of those who lost their lives.
