Hi, it's Yusuke.
Last time, I promised to break down flash photography for you. Well, here it is!
Quick heads-up: I made it into a video instead.
When I started breaking down aperture, shutter speed, and how it all works, I realized I’d need WAY too many photos to explain it. So, I figured a video would be much easier and more fun for you guys to follow.

The main topic is the guide number.
Do you know what the guide number on your flash actually means?
Every flash has one, it basically tells you how powerful it is. Once you know that number, you can figure out the perfect aperture for any distance.
If you’ve never heard of guide numbers, or if you always struggle with flash control, this one’s for you. It’s only about 9 minutes long!
